Day 1 – Zanzibar to Arusha & Tarangire National Park

Begin your safari adventure with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha where your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you upon arrival. Continue directly to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, ancient landscapes, and some of Tanzania’s largest elephant herds. Enjoy an exciting game drive through diverse habitats while spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, lions, and numerous colorful bird species around the Tarangire River. The park’s scenic beauty and abundant wildlife create excellent photography opportunities throughout the day. Day 2 – Ngorongoro Highlands to Ndutu Area

After breakfast, depart from Karatu and journey through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the wildlife-rich Ndutu region. Along the scenic drive, enjoy spectacular views of volcanic highlands, Maasai villages, and endless plains stretching toward the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive in the Ndutu area and begin an exciting game drive famous for seasonal Great Migration herds, predators, and open grassland wildlife. Depending on the season, witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras gathering across the plains while lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards follow closely nearby. Continue exploring lakes, woodlands, and short-grass plains rich in wildlife before arriving at Kontiki Ndutu Camp. Enjoy dinner, campfire atmosphere, and an authentic overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 3 – Ndutu Safari & Transfer to Ngorongoro

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive across the Ndutu plains when predators are most active and wildlife movement is at its peak. Search for cheetahs hunting across the open grasslands, lions resting near acacia trees, and large wildebeest herds grazing alongside zebras and gazelles. The Ndutu ecosystem offers exceptional opportunities for wildlife photography and close wildlife encounters throughout the migration season. After breakfast, continue with a final safari drive while departing the Ndutu region and heading toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the route, enjoy beautiful landscapes and occasional wildlife sightings before arriving at Ngorongoro Wild Camp. Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife safari inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater floor supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, hyenas, flamingos, and the rare black rhinoceros. Explore diverse habitats ranging from forests and open plains to swamps and soda lakes while enjoying breathtaking scenery surrounded by towering crater walls. Stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your afternoon game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, ascend the crater and return to Marera Valley Lodge where beautiful gardens, spacious rooms, and peaceful valley view’s offer the perfect setting for dinner and overnight relaxation.

Day 5 – Lake Manyara National Park & Departure

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic wildlife sanctuary famous for its lush groundwater forests, flamingo-filled lake, tree-climbing lions, and diverse ecosystems. Enjoy a morning game drive while searching for elephants, baboons, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and colorful birdlife along the lakeshore and forested areas. The park’s compact size and rich biodiversity provide an excellent final safari experience before departure. After lunch, begin your drive back toward Arusha with transfer to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania wildlife and migration safari adventure.
